Awards 2010-2011

Our year end dinner and celebration was held on May 24th at Pizza Delight in Bridgewater. The awards were given out by President Brenda Fitzgerald.
Scavenger Hunt Trophy winners Brenda Fitzgerald, Susan McDormand, and Deborah Croft: The Treasure Hunt award went to a team this year....Teresa Alexander-Arab and Sara Harley:

The Marilyn Morrison Memorial Trophy (highest points in Nature Competitions) was given to Sara Harley and Derek Johnston (a tie):The Sylvia Dorey Memorial Trophy (highest number of points in Floral competitions) was awarded to Teresa Alexander-Arab:Best Projected Image Photographer Trophy was awarded to Deborah Croft:The Fred Hay Memorial Trophy (highest total for all Print competitions) was awarded to Teresa Alexander-Arab:The Silent Essay Trophy was awarded to Sara Harley:
The Gordon McGowan Trophy (Sight and Sound Essay) was awarded to Teresa Alexander-Arab:

Colour Challenge

In preparation for our upcoming Treasure Hunt at the Photo Club (photographing 10 colour themes), how about posting some of your favourite shots with the colour GREEN.

Green is not included in the Treasure Hunt challenge....and green is a little scarce around here these days, so it would be great to see some of your green pics!

Ornaments

I love ornaments. I have a collection of old (over 50 years) and new ones. When I travel I try to pick up new ones. This is a shot that I took trying to figure out how to take sharp photos in low light. :)

Funky Gracie

Our cat, Gracie, decided that she wants to be a present under the Christmas tree. We did, in fact, get her in December 3 years ago. She was VERY feral but is now part of the family.
